Hadith 10:839
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shareek narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid, from Ali, who said: "As for me, I would make him wait after the four [months], then either he returns [to his wife] or he divorces." And Marwan said: "If I were in charge, I would do as he does."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا شريك عن ليث عن مجاهد عن علي قال أما أنا فكنت أوقفه بعد الأربعة فأما أن يفيء وإما أن يطلق وقال مروان ولو وليت لفعلت مثل ما يفعل
