Hadith 10:864
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Sa’id, from ‘Amir al-Ahwal, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, he said: If he swears an oath (ila’) regarding his wife for a month, or two months, or three months—what does not reach the limit—then it is not an ila’.
