Hadith 10:896
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il, from al-Sha’bi, regarding a man who swears an oath to abstain from his wife (ila’), then divorces her when four months have passed, before she has completed three menstrual cycles: she has become irrevocably separated (ba’in).
