Hadith 10:904
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Mughira, from Mutarrif, from al-Sha'bi, regarding a man who swore that he would not approach his wife until she weans her child. He said: If four months have passed, then the *ila* (oath of abstention) has entered into effect.
