Hadith 10:918
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Salam ibn Harb narrated to us, from Ali ibn Badhima, from Abu Ubayda, from Masruq, from Abdullah, who said: No one other than him should propose to her during her waiting period (iddah). If her waiting period has ended, he and the people are equal.
