Hadith 10:927
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us, from Abu al-Ala, from Hashim, regarding a man who said to his wife: "By Allah, I will not consummate the marriage with my wife in this house," then he left her until four months had passed. He said: "It is *Ila* (a vow of abstinence)." And Hammad said: "It is not *Ila*."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا محمد بن يزيد عن أبي العلاء عن هاشم في الرجل قال لأمرأته والله لا أبني بامرأتي في هذا البيت ثم تركها حتى مضت أربعة أشهر قال هو إيلاء وقال حماد ليس بإيلاء
