Hadith 10:936
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abda bin Sulayman narrated to us, from Yahya bin Sa’id, he said: I asked Sa’id bin al-Musayyib about a man who divorces his wife while she is in a rented house: upon whom is the rent? He said: "Upon her husband." He said: "And if the husband does not have [the means]?" He said: "Then upon her." He said: "And if she does not have [the means]?" He said: "Then upon the leader (Amir)."
