Hadith 10:968
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Zubayr ibn ‘Adi, from Zayd ibn al-Harith, from Shurayh: That a man divorced [his wife] and had not specified a dowry, and he had not consummated the marriage with her. So Shurayh compelled him to provide a gift of consolation (mut’ah).
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا وكيع عن سفيان عن الزبير بن عدي عن زيد بن الحارث عن شريح أن رجلا طلق ولم يفرض ولم يدخل فجبره شريح على المتعة
