Hadith 10:969
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs bin Ghiyath narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from the one who narrated to him, from Ibn Mughaffal, he said: "The only one who is compelled to provide a gift of consolation (mut'ah) is he who divorces without having specified a dowry and without having consummated the marriage."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا حفص بن غياث عن حجاج عمن حدثه عن بن مغفل قال إنما يجبر على المتعة من طلق فلم يفرض ولم يدخل
