Hadith 10:981
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from 'Ata', he said: A man was asked about a man who divorces his wife, and he had already assigned a dowry (mahr) to her before he had entered upon her; does she have a gift (mata')? He said: 'Ata' used to say: She has no gift.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا إسماعيل بن علية عن بن أبي نجيح عن عطاء قال سئل الرجل يطلق امرأته وقد فرض قبل أن يدخل بها لها متاع قال كان عطاء يقول لا متاع لها
