Hadith 15:1
Abu Bakr Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Abu Burdah, from his father, who said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent him to Yemen. He asked him about drinks that are made there: the *bit'*, which is made from honey, and the *mizr*, which is made from corn. He said: "Every intoxicant is forbidden."
حدثنا أبو بكر عبد الله بن محمد بن أبي شيبة قال حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الشيباني عن أبي بردة عن أبيه قال بعثه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى اليمن فسأله عن أشربة يصنع بها البتع والمزر من الذرة فقال كل مسكر حرام
