Hadith 15:129
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to the watering place and said, "Give me to drink from this." Al-Abbas said, "Shall we not give you to drink from what we make in the houses?" He said, "No, but give me to drink from what the people drink." He said: So a cup of nabidh (fermented drink) was brought to him. He tasted it and frowned. Then he said, "Bring water," and he poured it over it. Then he said, "Add more to it," two or three times. He said, "If this reaches you, then do with it like this."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن عكرمة عن بن عباس قال أتى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم السقاية فقال اسقوني من هذا فقال العباس ألا نسقيك مما نصنع في البيوت قال لا ولكن اسقوني مما يشرب الناس قال فأتي بقدح من نبيذ فذاقه فقطب ثم قال هلموا ماء فصبه عليه ثم قال زد فيه مرتين أو ثلاثا قال إذا أصابكم هذا فاصنعوا به هكذا
