Hadith 15:130
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il, from Qurrah al-‘Ijli, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn al-Qa’qa’, from Ibn ‘Umar, who said: We were with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and a vessel containing a drink was brought to him. He brought it near to his mouth, then he returned it. Some of those sitting with him said to him, "Is it forbidden, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Return it." So they returned it. Then he called for water and poured it over it, then he drank. He said, "Observe these drinks; when they become strong (fermented) for you, then cut their strength with water."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن قرة العجلي عن عبد الملك بن القعقاع عن بن عمر قال كنا عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأتي بقدح فيه شراب فقربه إلى فيه ثم رده فقال له بعض جلسائه أحرام هو يا رسول الله قال فقال ردوه فردوه ثم دعا بماء فصبه عليه ثم شرب فقال انظروا هذه الأشربة إذا اغتلمت عليكم فاقطعوا متونها بالماء
