Hadith 15:131

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Khalid ibn Sa'd, from Abu Mas'ud, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became thirsty while he was circumambulating the House around the Kaaba. He asked for water to drink, so he was brought *nabidh* (a drink made from soaked dates or raisins) from the water-dispensing place. He smelled it and frowned. He said: "Bring me a bucket of Zamzam." So it was poured over it, and he drank. A man said: "Is it forbidden, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "No."
