Hadith 15:133
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Zadhan, who said: I asked Ibn 'Umar about *nabidh* (fermented drink), and I said to him: "We have a language other than your language, so explain it to us in our language." Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the *hantamah*, which is the clay jar; and he forbade the *duba'*, which is the gourd; and the *muzaffat*, which is the pitch-coated vessel; and the *naqir*, which is the hollowed-out palm trunk. And he commanded that *nabidh* be made in waterskins.
