Hadith 15:14
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Burdah, who said: Umar said: "Indeed, these nabidh (fermented drinks) are made from five things: dates, raisins, honey, wheat, and barley. So whatever of them becomes intoxicating, then it is aged, it is khamr (wine/intoxicant)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي بردة قال قال عمر إن هذه الأنبذة تنبذ من خمسة أشياء من التمر والزبيب والعسل والبر والشعير فما خمرته منها ثم عتقته فهو خمر
