Hadith 15:140
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from Hammam, who said: Nabeedh of raisins from the Nabeedh of Ta'if raisins was brought to Umar. When he tasted it, he frowned and said: "Indeed, the Nabeedh of Ta'if raisins has a harshness." Then he called for water and poured it over it, then he drank and said: "If it becomes strong for you, then pour water over it and drink."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن همام قال أتي عمر بنبيذ زبيب من نبيذ زبيب الطائف قال فلما ذاقه قطب فقال إن لنبيذ زبيب الطائف لغراما ثم دعا بماء فصبه عليه فشرب وقال إذا اشتد عليكم فصبوا عليه الماء واشربوا
