Hadith 15:153
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah bin Numayr narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I prepared food and invited the companions of Abdullah: Amr bin Sharhabil, Abd al-Rahman bin Dhi’b, Umarah, Murrah al-Hamadani, and Amr bin Maymun. I gave them *nabidh* (fermented drink) and *tila’* (thickened grape juice) to drink, and they drank. Al-A’mash said: I said to him, "Did they see the large jars?" He said, "Yes, they used to look at them while they were drawing from them."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير عن الأعمش عن أبي إسحاق قال صنعت طعاما فدعوت أصحاب عبد الله عمرو بن شرحبيل وعبد الرحمن بن ذئب وعمارة ومرة الهمداني وعمرو بن ميمون فسقيتهم النبيذ والطلاء فشربوا فقال الأعمش قلت له كانوا يرون الخوابي قال نعم كانوا ينظرون إليها وهم يستقون منها
