Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 15:156

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I got married, so I invited the companions of Ali and the companions of Abdullah. From the companions of Ali were 'Amarah ibn 'Abd, Hubayrah ibn Yarim, and al-Harith al-A'war. From the companions of Abdullah were 'Alqamah ibn Qays, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, and 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Dhi'b. So I prepared for them [a drink] in the large jars, and they were drinking from it. I said, while they were looking at it, "Do they see it?" He said, "Yes, they look at it."
