Hadith 15:16
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn Hayyan, from his father, from Maryam bint Tariq, who said: I entered upon ‘Aishah among a group of women from the various regions, and they began asking her about the vessels in which nabidh (fermented drink) is made. She said: "O women of the believers, you mention vessels and ask about them, while many of them did not exist during the time of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. So fear Allah. Whatever drink intoxicates any one of you, let her avoid it, even if it is the water of her own water-skin, for every intoxicant is haram."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن علية عن بن حيان عن أبيه عن مريم بنت طارق قالت دخلت على عائشة في نساء من نساء الأمصار فجعلن يسألنها عن الظروف التي تنبذ فيها فقالت يا نساء المؤمنين إنكن لتذكرن ظروفا وتسألن عنها ما كان كثير منها على عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فاتقين الله وما أسكر إحداكن من الأشربة فلتجتنبه وإن أسكر ماء حبها فإن كل مسكر حرام
