Hadith 15:161
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mulazim ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from ‘Ajibah ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid, from his paternal uncle Qays ibn Talq, from his father Talq ibn ‘Ali, who said: We were sitting with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when the delegation of ‘Abd al-Qays came. He said: "What is the matter with you that your complexions have turned yellow, your bellies have become large, and your veins have become prominent?" They said: "Our leader came to you and asked you about a drink that was agreeable to us, and you forbade him from it, and we were in a land of famine." He said: "Then drink what is agreeable to you."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا ملازم بن عمرو عن عجيبة بن عبد الحميد عن عمه قيس بن طلق عن أبيه طلق بن علي قال جلسنا عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فجاء وفد عبد القيس فقال ما لكم قد اصفرت ألوانكم وعظمت بطونكم وظهرت عروقكم قال قالوا أتاك سيدنا فسألك عن شراب كان لنا موافقا فنهيته عنه وكنا بأرض مخمة قال فاشربوا ما طاب لكم
