Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 15:168

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu al-Harith al-Taymi, from Umm Ma'bad, who said: "O my son, indeed, the one who makes lawful what Allah has made unlawful is like the one who makes unlawful what Allah has made lawful. I used to prepare *nabidh* (a drink made from soaked dates or raisins) for Qurzah ibn Ka'b—and he was a man whom Allah had given much good—and he would give it to the companions of Muhammad to drink. And Mu'adh ibn Jabal and Zayd ibn Arqam used to visit him, [drinking it] from the pitched jar and the green earthenware vessel."
