Hadith 15:172
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Abu Harun al-Ghanawi, from Abu Mijlaz, who said: Qays ibn 'Abbad prepared food for some people among the reciters, then he gave them *nabidh* (a fermented drink) to drink. Then he said: "Do you know what *nabidh* I gave you to drink?" They said: "Yes, you gave us *nabidh* to drink." He said: "No, but it is the *nabidh* of a jar or jars." Then he went to Ma'qil ibn Yasar and said: "In what is it prepared for you?" So he called the slave girl, and she brought a green jar, and he said: "It is prepared for me in this."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا إسماعيل بن علية عن أبي هارون الغنوي عن أبي مجلز قال صنع قيس بن عباد لأناس من القراء طعاما ثم سقاهم نبيذا ثم قال تدرون ما النبيذ الذي سقيتكم قالوا نعم سقيتنا نبيذا قال لا ولكنه نبيذ جر أو جرار ثم أنطلق إلى معقل بن يسار قال فقال فيما ينبذ لك فدعا الجارية فجاءت بجر أخضر فقال ينبذ لي في هذا
