Hadith 15:209

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Yahya ibn al-Harith al-Taymi, from Yahya ibn Ghassan al-Taymi, from Ibn Rusaym—and he was a man from the people of Hajar and he was a jurist—who narrated from his father that he set out to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in a delegation with charity that he was carrying to him. He said: So he forbade them from *nabidh* (fermented drink) in these vessels. They returned to their land, and it was the land of Tihamah, which is hot, and they found it unhealthy. So they returned to him the second year with their charities and said: "O Messenger of Allah, you forbade us from these vessels, so we abandoned them, and that was difficult for us." He said: "Go and drink in whatever you wish. Whoever wishes, let him tie his waterskin upon sin."
