Hadith 15:220

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abu al-Harith al-Taymi, from Umm Ma'bad, she said: She said, "What did he say regarding these vessels?" She said, "You have fallen upon one who is informed. As for the *hanatim*, they are the *hanatim* of the non-Arabs, which a man enters into and sweeps thoroughly; they are vessels for wine. As for the *duba'*, they are gourds. As for the *muzaffat*, they are skins whose interiors are coated with pitch, and their hairs are colored with pitch; they are vessels for wine. As for the *naqir*, it is a palm tree whose roots are fixed in the earth, which has been hollowed out by carving."
