Hadith 15:27
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Abu Ja’far, from al-Rabi’, from Abu al-‘Aliyah or someone else, from Ibn Mughaffal, he said: I witnessed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbid the nabidh (fermented drink) of the jar. And I witnessed him grant a concession, and he said: "Avoid every intoxicant."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن أبي جعفر عن الربيع عن أبي العالية أو غيره عن بن مغفل قال أنا شهدت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن نبيذ الجر وأنا شهدته رخص وقال اجتنبوا كل مسكر
