Hadith 15:275
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Ibrahim, who said: I said to Tawus: "What do you see regarding this juice (must) which is cooked down to half, or a third, and the like?" He said: "What do you see regarding this which is like honey? If you wish, you eat bread with it, and if you wish, you pour water over it and drink it. As for what is less than that (i.e., not cooked to that extent), do not drink it, do not sell it, and do not benefit from its price."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان عن داود بن إبراهيم قال قلت لطاوس أرأيت هذا العصير الذي يطبخ على النصف والثلث ونحو ذلك قال أرأيت هذا الذي من نحو العسل إن شئت أكلت عليه الخبز وإن شئت صببت عليه ماء فشربته وما دونه فلا تشربه ولا تبعه ولا تنتفعن بثمنه
