Hadith 15:279
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Bishr al-'Abdi narrated to us, from Hajjaj ibn Abi 'Uthman, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Do not make nabidh (a fermented drink) from dates and raisins together, and do not make nabidh from unripe dates (zahw) and ripe dates (rutab) together. Rather, make nabidh from each one of them separately."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا محمد بن بشر العبدي عن حجاج بن أبي عثمان عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن عبد الله بن أبي قتادة عن أبيه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لا تنتبذوا التمر والزبيب جميعا ولا تنتبذوا الزهو والرطب وانتبذوا كل واحد منهما على حدة
