Hadith 15:294
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas bin Malik, who said: We were in the house of Abu Talha, and with us were Suhayl bin Bayda, Ubayy bin Ka'b, and Abu Ubaydah, and they were drinking a drink of theirs, when a caller called out: "Verily, alcohol has been prohibited." By Allah, they did not look to see if it was true or false until they said: "O Anas, overturn what remains in the vessel." So he overturned his vessel, and it was at that time made of unripe dates and dried dates. By Allah, they did not return to it until they met Allah.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن حميد عن أنس بن مالك قال كنا في بيت أبي طلحة ومعنا سهيل بن بيضاء وأبي بن كعب وأبو عبيدة وهم يشربون شرابا لهم إذ نادى منادي ألا إن الخمر قد حرمت فو الله ما نظروا صدق أو كذب حتى قالوا يا أنس أكفئ ما بقي في الإناء فأكفأ إناءه وهو يؤمئذ البسر والتمر فوالله ما عادوا فيها حتى لقوا الله
