Hadith 15:343
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us, from Ubayd Allah ibn Zahr, from Bakr ibn Suwadah, from Qays ibn Sa’d ibn Ubadah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Indeed, my Lord has forbidden for me alcohol, the *kubah* (drum), and the *qanin*—meaning the lute." Then he said: "Beware of *ghubayra* (a fermented drink made from millet or corn), for it is a third of the world's alcohol."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا [ يحيى ] بن إسحاق قال أخبرنا يحيى بن ايوب عن عبيد الله بن زحر عن بكر بن سوادة عن قيس بن سعد بن عبادة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال إن ربي حرم علي الخمر والكوبة والقنين يعني العود ثم قال إياكم والغبيراء فإنها ثلث خمر العالم
