Hadith 15:42
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: 'Abbad bin al-'Awwam narrated to us, from Isma'il bin Sami', from Malik bin 'Umayr, that Sa'sa'ah bin Suhan came to 'Ali and greeted him. He said: "O Commander of the Faithful, forbid me from what the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade you from." He said: "The Messenger of Allah forbade us from the *duba* (gourd), the *hantam* (green glazed jar), the *naqir* (hollowed-out log), and the *ju'ah* (a type of fermented drink)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عباد بن العوام عن إسماعيل بن سميع عن مالك بن عمير أن صعصعة بن صوحان أتى عليا فسلم عليه فقال يا أمير المؤمنين انهني عما نهاك عنه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال نهانا رسول الله عن الدباء والحنتم والنقير والجعة
