Hadith 15:427
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Yazid, he said: I did not see anyone who was more prompt in breaking the fast than Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib. He would not wait for a mu'adhdhin. A cup of water would be brought to him, and he would drink it in one breath, not pausing until he had finished it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن عبد الله بن يزيد قال لم أر أحدا كان أعجل إفطارا من سعيد بن المسيب كان لا ينتظر مؤذنا ويؤتى بقدح من ماء فيشربه بنفس واحد لا يقطعه حتى يفرغ منه
