Hadith 15:457
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah informed me, from 'Amarah ibn Abi Hafsah, from 'Ikrimah, who said: Drink was brought to 'Umar while he was at the station on the evening of 'Arafah. He drank, then he handed it to the leader of the people of Yemen, who was on his right. He said: "I am fasting." He said: "I adjure you to break your fast, and command your companions to break their fast."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو أسامة قال أخبرني شعبة عن عمارة بن أبي حفصة عن عكرمة قال أتي عمر بشراب وهو بالموقف عشية عرفة فشرب ثم ناول سيد أهل اليمن وهو عن يمينه قال إني صائم قال عزمت عليك إلا أفطرت وأمرت أصحابك أن يفطروا
