Hadith 15:476
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Wahid ibn Ayman, from his father, from Nafi’ ibn al-Harith, who said: ‘Umar said: "Drink this nabidh (fermented drink) in these water skins, for it strengthens the spine and digests what is in the stomach. And it will never overcome you as long as you find water."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن عبد الواحد بن أيمن عن أبيه عن نافع بن عبد الحارث قال قال عمر اشربوا هذا النبيذ في هذه الأسقية فإنه يقيم الصلب ويهضم ما في البطن وإنه لن يغلبكم ما وجدتم الماء
