Hadith 15:480
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Layth, from Sa’id ibn ‘Amir, who said: We passed with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, by a pool of water, and we began to drink from it directly with our mouths. He said: "Do not drink directly with your mouths, but wash your hands and drink from them, for there is no vessel better than the hand."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن فضيل عن ليث عن سعيد بن عامر قال مررنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على برك ماء فجعلنا نكرع فيها فقال لا تكرعوا ولكن اغسلوا أيديكم واشربوا فيها فإنه ليس من إناء أطيب من اليد
