Hadith 15:486
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Abu Ja’far, from Muhammad bin ‘Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid, from Zadhan, who said: "If a vessel spends the night uncovered, the devil spits into it." This was mentioned to Ibrahim, and he said: "Or he drank from it."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور عن أبي جعفر عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد عن زاذان قال إذا بات الإناء غير مخمر تفل فيه الشيطان فذكر ذلك لإبراهيم فقال أو شرب منه
