Hadith 15:55
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, he said: Sulayman al-Taymi informed us, from Asma’ bint Yazid, from a cousin of hers who is called Anas, that he heard Ibn Abbas saying: "Did Allah the Exalted not say: 'And whatever the Messenger has given you, take it; and whatever he has forbidden you, abstain from it'?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Did Allah the Exalted not say: 'It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair'?" He said: "Then I bear witness regarding the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he forbade the *nabidh* (fermented drink) of the *naqir* (hollowed-out log), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), the *duba’* (gourd), and the *hantam* (green glazed jar)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا سليمان التيمي عن أسماء بنت يزيد عن بن عم لها يقال له أنس أنه سمع بن عباس يقول ألم يقل الله تعالى @QB@ وما آتاكم الرسول فخذوه وما نهاكم عنه فانتهوا @QE@ 1 قالوا بلى قال ألم يقل الله تعالى @QB@ وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضى الله ورسوله أمرا أن يكون لهم الخيرة من أمرهم @QE@ 2 الآية قال فأشهد على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه نهى عن نبيذ النقير والمزفت والدباء والحنتم
