Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 15:58

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yunus bin Muhammad narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Wahid bin Ziyad narrated to us, from 'Asim al-Ahwal, from Fudayl bin Zayd, who said: We were with 'Abd Allah bin Mu'qal and we discussed [the subject of] drinks. He said: "Khamr (intoxicants) is forbidden." I said: "Is Khamr forbidden in the Book of Allah?" He said: "What is it that you want? Do you want what I heard from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace? I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbidding the *duba* (gourd), the *hantam* (green glazed jar), and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel)."
