Hadith 15:67
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Khaliq ibn Salama informed us, he said: I heard Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib saying: I heard Ibn Umar saying at this pulpit—and he pointed to the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—: The delegation of Abd al-Qays came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and they asked him about drinks, so he forbade them from the *dabba* (gourd), the *naqir* (hollowed-out log), and the *hantam* (green glazed jar). I said: "O Abu Muhammad, and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel)?" And we thought that he had forgotten it. He said: "I did not hear it from Ibn Umar on that day."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا يزيد قال أخبرنا عبد الخالق بن سلمة قال سمعت سعيد بن المسيب يقول سمعت بن عمر يقول عند هذا المنبر فأشار إلى منبر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قدم وفد عبد القيس على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فسألوه عن الأشربة فنهاهم عن الدباء والنقير والحنتم فقلت يا أبا محمد والمزفت وظننا أنه نسيه فقال لم أسمعه يومئذ من بن عمر
