Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1017

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Talha ibn Yahya, from Abu Burdah, who said: Sa'id ibn al-'As said: "If I have taught my child the Qur'an, and I have veiled him (protected his modesty), and I have married him off, then I have fulfilled his right, and my right remains upon him."
