Hadith 17:102
Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from ‘Umarah Abu Sa‘id, who said: I said to al-Hasan, "To what extent does disobedience (to parents) reach?" He said, "That you forbid them, and abandon them, and stare sharply at the faces of your parents. O ‘Umarah, how [great] is the righteousness toward them!"
حدثنا بن علية عن عمارة أبي سعيد قال قلت للحسن إلى ما ينتهي العقوق قال أن تحرمهما وتهجرهما وتحد النظر إلى وجه والديك يا عمارة كيف البر لهما
