Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1037

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Abu al-Umays, from al-Qasim, from Abu Bazzah, from Abu Ubaydah, from Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, that he smelled the scent of incense from his wife while she was in Mecca. So he swore an oath upon her that she would not go out that night.
