'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Bilal, from his father, who said: "From a man’s maintaining ties with his father is that he maintains ties with the brothers whom he [the father] used to maintain ties with." Hammad said: "I think it is from Abu Musa." It was said to Hammad: "Bilal bin Abi Burdah?" He said: "Yes."
