Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1066

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Abu Shaybah informed us, from a man, from al-Sha’bi, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Keep your scrolls (books/writings) clean, for it is greater for blessing."
