Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1072

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl informed us, from Sufyan al-Attar, who said: I saw al-Sha'bi riding behind a man. He said: And he (al-Sha'bi) used to say, "The owner of the mount has more right to its front."
