Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Salamah, from ‘Isa ibn ‘Asim, from Zirr, from ‘Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Taking omens is shirk. Taking omens is shirk. And there is none among us but [it occurs to him], but Allah removes it through reliance [upon Him]."
