Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1093

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from al-Jurayri, from al-Mudharib ibn Harb, who said: I said to Abu Hurayrah, "Did you hear anything from your Prophet, so narrate it to me?" He said: "Yes. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'There is no contagion, no superstition, and no owl (as an omen). The best of superstition is the good omen (al-fa'l), and the evil eye is true.'"
