Hatim ibn Wardan narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ikrimah, who said: Ibn Abbas said: "Do you ask the People of the Book about their scriptures, while you have the Book of Allah, the most recent of the scriptures in covenant with Allah? You read it pure, unadulterated."
