Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1179

Waki' narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Sa'id ibn Abi Burdah, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when he sent him and Mu'adh to Yemen, said: "Make things easy and do not make things difficult."
