Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 17:1208

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'adh narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said: The Emigrants (Muhajirun) said: "O Messenger of Allah, we have not seen the like of a people we have come to, who are more generous in abundance, nor better in consolation with little. They have sufficed us the burden and have made us partners in the pleasant things. We have feared that they would take away all the reward." He said: "No, as long as you praise them and pray to Allah for them."
